USAGE: Conjee or soup can be made adding Glucose. Have it twice a day.

Indications: Diarrhoea, dysentery, amoebiasis, peptic ulcer, digestive impairment.

Its rhizome is a highly starchy and easily digestible material which is being used in treating stomach and urinary related problems.

Antidiarrheal efficacy of Maranta arundinacea makes it an inevitable   product in treating diarrhoea in developing countries. In treating peptic ulcer it reduces free acidity in gastric juice, increases pH and decreases peptic activity.

Dosage:  With 5 to 10 gm of arrowroot powder add sufficient quantity of water, make porridge (kanji), add sugar or glucose to taste and have as and when required.
